Images of old (!) marbled papers scanned by me. It is a difficult question whether the patterns of paper marbling – which are partly created by the art of the craftsman and partly by chance – are protected by copyright. However, since all the examples provided here are very old, I assume that such copyright, if it ever existed, has since expired.
